■Truss Rod Cover/トラスロッド・カバー

リッケンバッカー325C58のトラスロッド・カバー（TRC／ネームプレート）は、ジョン・レノンの1958年製の325のものと比較して少し短く、形もズングリとしていてます。そのため、トップのネジの位置が違い、ペイントされているロゴも全体的に少し小さくなっています。

ロゴのスタイルもジョンのものと微妙に違います。例えば325C58のロゴの「b」の縦線が下の長い横線と交わる部分が右にカーブを描くように丸くなっていますが、ジョンの325はそうなっていません。以上の点を修正したトラスロッド・カバーを取り付けました。詳しくは写真をご覧ください。

The truss rod cover that comes with the Rickenbacker 325C58 is a little shorther than the one on John Lennon's 1958 325.  Thus the location of the top screw hole is a little off and the logo painted on the back side of the TRC is slightly smaller.  The logo also has a subtly different stlye.  For example, the vertical line of "b" has a different shape where it meets the long horizontal line below.  See the photos for details.

■Grover Sta-Tite Tuners/グローバー・ペグ

リッケンバッカー325C58に搭載されたチューニング・ペグは、ジョン・レノンの1958年製325のGrover Sta-Titeペグを復刻した日本のGotoh製のものです。正確に再現されていますが、当然「Grover」という刻印はありません。eBayで1950年代後半〜1960年代初頭のGrover Sta-Titeを手に入れて交換しました。

John Lennon’s 1958 325 is equipped with Grover open-back Sta-Tite tuners.  The Rickenbacker 325C58 comes with precise repro Sta-Tites made by a Japanese company Gotoh which obviously don’t say “Grover”.  I installed a set of Grover Sta-Tites from the late 50’s/early 60’s that I found at eBay on my 325C58.
